The below outline should be followed by all members. It has flexibility built in- chose your PT and skills then plug them into the template. All are expected to post their details and results on the web page comments.

  1. Did 30-60 minutes of calisthenics Tues-Sat last week. No rucking due to weather. Heavy bag Tues & Thurs, Escrima drills on Sat.

  2. MWF of last week I did 20min elliptical and 30min weight lifting as post surgical recovery. Tuesday some dry firing, Thursday some time at the range and then weapons break down.

  3. For the week of 4/9. Did 4 consecutive days of cross country walking for a total of 6.25 miles….each walk was 30 mins. in length…speed of 3.0 MPH. Will be working up to 4.0 mph as I did a couple years ago. Hopefully I will add some weight to a backpack when I get in better shape.

  4. 6.8 miles for the week. Outside of that just doing core work and working PT for the arm.

  5. 4/16 1 hour on treadmill 3.5 miles
    4/17 1 hour on treadmill 3.7 miles.
    4/18 1 hour on treadmill 3.9 miles
    4/19 1 hour on treadmill 4.0 miles.

  6. 9 miles for the week, some of it rucking, some hiking, some walking. Also did 1.5 hours of strength training and went to the range.

  7. Gear check, clean and inspect pistol/rifle after UTX,30 minute dumb bell, going to buy new better boots (steel toe boots used during UTX was very bad decision)

  8. Sat. 9/22 training. Had a good turnout of troopers this time…about 6-8 were there, I believe. Did some good PT as well us discuss some important topics about the 3/2. All were disappointed that we could not go and do the CQB drills at the farm, but we still had some good conversation and a good workout.

300 meter run/jog/walk 2.5 minutes. I was in turtle mode.

26 sit ups for the 2 min. time

12 knee squats, don’t recall the time limit.
Walked on Sunday 2.0 miles in about 35 mins. cross country.

Overall not too bad for an old guy with bad knees. 🙂

  9. That is awesome Wayne…that was a heavy load to carry that far. If I pass out, I know who will be able to carry me back to camp or at least to my vehicle!

  10. Today: Completed lesson 1 materials & questions of Combat Lifesaver book.
    Last weekend: 3 mile ruck.

  11. Been doing steady weight training;;
70 pounds and whatever bar weighs 5 sets of 20 twice daily
200 pounds leg press machine 100 times non stop once daily.
Heavy bag 5 minutes once daily
    Treadmill 5 minutes once daily
This is done 5 days a week with 2 days of rest
    Cause I’m fat
