For the week of 4/9. Did 4 consecutive days of cross country walking for a total of 6.25 miles….each walk was 30 mins. in length…speed of 3.0 MPH. Will be working up to 4.0 mph as I did a couple years ago. Hopefully I will add some weight to a backpack when I get in better shape.

7.5 mile ruck at Cuivre River State Park with a 35lb pack. on September 3rd.
Good work Wayne. I made up my ruck this past weekend, 4 miles but had a light load.
Sat. 9/22 training. Had a good turnout of troopers this time…about 6-8 were there, I believe. Did some good PT as well us discuss some important topics about the 3/2. All were disappointed that we could not go and do the CQB drills at the farm, but we still had some good conversation and a good workout.
300 meter run/jog/walk 2.5 minutes. I was in turtle mode.
26 sit ups for the 2 min. time
12 knee squats, don’t recall the time limit.
Walked on Sunday 2.0 miles in about 35 mins. cross country.
Overall not too bad for an old guy with bad knees. 🙂
That is awesome Wayne…that was a heavy load to carry that far. If I pass out, I know who will be able to carry me back to camp or at least to my vehicle!
