This week we are going to learn about the American Redoubt Radio Operator’s Network. This film highlights AmRRON’s plan for a fully functional grid down nationwide communications network. - Develop a Ch 3 plan for your neighborhood using FRS/GMRS/CB
- Determine how to connect with other members in your activation group (City, South, St. Charles). This will most like be via 2m.
- Determine if you need additional licensing or equipment to be effective.
- Post your findings and schedule communications test to measure how effective your plans are.
So far I have 3 simplex contacts from home to other members. I can easily reach the StC repeater and reach all the way to South City and Pacific. I have spare FRS/GMRS for local use. Buying a Signal Link for 2m digital as i think this will great expand my simplex range.
